In 2013 Delhi state elections, AAP formed the state government with the support of Indian National Congress. AAP’s leader Arvind Kejriwal became the 7th Chief Minister of India. But soon after 49 days of rule, the minister resigned from his post. This brought Delhi under the Presidential rule for about a year.
